Conditions of Entry
For the enjoyment & safety of everyone involved we expect the following.
* Purchasing a ticket means you agree to the terms and conditions set out above.
* Refusal to follow the above will result in and not limited to: refusal of entry to car park and/or ball, wrist band removed and ejected from event, Police action or black listed from all participating events in the future.
- No glass is to be brought into grounds – esky’s will be searched on entry to the showgrounds by security and Finley Apex Club members. Any found will be confiscated with the opportunity to collect on departure. Any glass found once entered will be confiscated and not returned
- Food dye is not to be brought into the ball – spitting or throwing will cause eviction from event
- Dress code is Strictly Traditional B&S Style black tie. Must have bow tie or tie, shirt, dress pants and covered in shoes. Dinner style coat/jacket/vest or neat jumper optional. Dresses must be neat & tasteful and must have closed in shoes. Leggings, jacket, vest or neat jumper optional. Not gender specific, but must be neat.
- Zero tolerance to denim and costumes.
- Dress code not followed, no entry. Any questions, ask.
- Once you have found a campsite, your vehicle is to stay stationary due to safety of those attending and volunteers. Anyone driving around inside the grounds is subject to random breath tests & random drug tests. Any dangerous driving will not be tolerated will be examined under the full strength of the law. Zero tolerance to ‘ute surfing’ or riding.
- Patrons must follow any and all instruction by Finley Apex Members, security or Police
- Zero tolerance to any illicit substance brought into the grounds. Any information on substance abuse/sale/distribution will be passed onto and handled promptly by NSW police.
- Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes, but not limited to: violence, abuse, disrespect to anyone, threats to anyone involved, intimidation of any kind, any discrimination to anyone involved
- Intoxication will not be tolerated. RSA guidelines will be adhered to by bar staff, volunteers and security
- Any situation, dangerous or not, must be reported to security or Finley Apex Club members as soon as possible.
- Every person camping inside the showgrounds must have a ticket to the ball, no exception unless previously arranged with Apex club ie. Carer of someone in need
- Fires are to be contained in a fire drum or pit. Any dangerous fires/bon fires will be extinguished by the Rural Fire Service at the cost of the offender
- Strictly 18+ event – Photo ID will be required for entry, listed below are the ONLY ACCEPTABLE forms or identification:
- A driver's or rider's license or permit (issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country)
- Australian passport or a foreign passport issued by another country,
- NSW photo card (issued by Roads and Maritime Services NSW)
- Proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person's identity and age
- Keypass (over-18) identity card issued by Australia Post.
- No alcohol is to be taken into or out of licensed area
- Finley Apex club members have the right to refuse any persons entry to the event
